I recently led a seminar for the Martha Road Baptist Church in Altus, Oklahoma. The people there are wonderful! And it was great to see my friends Pastor Kevin and Mari Kayla Baker again.
Little did I know that I would learn more than anyone while in Altus. Mari Kayla took me on a shopping trip. She is one of the smartest shoppers I have seen.
I took over 30 minutes of video on this shopping trip and have condensed it to 10 minutes. If you like reality tv, you will love this!

Please share your comments. This is a relationship, not a lecture…LOL!
I would love to see the video but there is nothing for me to click on. It is a blank screen for me. Is there another way to see it. I could see the start on your email you sent just not at your site.
Very cool. Reminds me of my own mom shopping at Walgreens and CVS, working the coupons and sales. So, the meters are on sale for $10, and she’s got a $10 coupon, which makes it free? So, why is she buying anything? What’s the $5 cash back she mentioned that required her to buy some stuff? In addition she had some “Walgreens cash”…does that not have to be used all at once? Not sure how this worked out exactly. It would be helpful to see the breakdown in print online here for one of the purchases.
The breakdown was 1 meter @ 10.00
1 Tide @ 5.99
– 10.00 meter coupon by manufacturer
– 1.00 Tide coupon
– 5.00 Walgreens Q from diabetic magazine
This gave me overage to buy Tide
Total .01 Negative total so I need to add the the M &M’s and in Oklahoma we also have tax and the total has to be at least a positive 1 cent before the tax can be added. This was one of the transactions the other was the same using the 5 dollar overage to buy bounty paper towels. I like it products produce overage to help me buy useful items.
This is fantastic. I think I will at least start looking at Sunday coupons to save money. Thanks for sharing this!!!
