Every year now for about 18 years, Bruce has been bringing Valentine presents to our daughters on Valentine’s Day. He always buys them a little stuffed animal or toy or candy and gives them a card just from him with a positive and loving message — and sometimes ties a pretty helium balloon to it. I don’t do any of the buying or signing for him—he picks out everything himself and takes the time to write in all the cards.
How is this a financial tip? Because for just a few dollars—the price of a card, toy & balloon—you can make your daughters and sons feel extremely special and loved on Valentine’s Day. The smiles and hugs Bruce receives from our daughters are worth much more than the money he spent!
Oh, and Bruce always gives me a wonderful card and a little gift as well!
Have a wonderful Valentine’s Day!

PS. Moms, I give our daughters a little gift and card as well.
